- Axoft is a Harvard spinout neurotech company (founded 2021 in Cambridge, MA by Paul Le Floch, Tianyang Ye and Prof. Jia Liu) building implantable brain-computer interfaces (iBCIs).234
- Its probes use a proprietary soft material, Fleuron, reported to be roughly 10,000× softer than the polyimide used in existing iBCIs, reducing tissue scarring and lead migration for stable long-term recording.56
