Neural Noise- Neuvotion, Inc., a Stamford, Connecticut-based medical device company founded by Dr. Chad Bouton, announced on 27 July 2026 the commercial launch of its brain-computer interface (BCI) and brain-body interface (BBI) technology portfolio.1
- The announcement coincided with publication of a related peer-reviewed study in Nature Medicine describing a “Dual Neural Bypass” (DNB) hybrid neuroprosthetic that allowed a fully quadriplegic patient to pick up a cup and eat using their own hand, with artificial touch sensation restored and some function persisting after the device was removed.12
- The BBI portfolio combines wearable high-resolution muscle stimulation, spinal neuromodulation, and minimally invasive BCI technology, using AI-guided, intention-driven neurostimulation to restore movement and sensation after stroke or spinal cord injury.1
- The company’s first FDA 510(k)-cleared product, NeuStim, an AI-guided non-invasive high-resolution muscle stimulator for post-stroke and spinal-cord-injury recovery, is set to launch commercially in fall 2026.1
- Neuvotion is partnering with rehabilitation centers to move the DNB research findings from specialized research settings into everyday clinical care for people with movement and sensory impairments.1
