  • The Layer 7 Cortical Interface is a thin-film, non-penetrating subdural array with 1,024 microelectrodes, about one-fifth the thickness of a human hair, placed on the cortical surface during the same hospital stay as a scheduled neurosurgery and removed at bedside in under five minutes.1
